Pisa, Italy,
September 23rd to 26th, 2009
Welcome
The European Health Psychology Society has chosen Pisa for its 23
rd Annual Conference which will be held from the
23rd to the 26th September 2009. The aim of the meeting is to link up the theoretical knowledge of health psychology to psychological interventions in health and illness. Scientific research in the field of health has an excellent and long lasting history in Pisa and is deeply rooted in medical sciences. The main objectives of the meeting are to offer advanced level lectures, presentation of new findings and research in different areas of health psychology.
The conference will provide space for contributors and delegates to exchange new ideas, research data and projects in significant conceptual and operative models that are also relevant to health psychology practice and education.
The stimulating environment that makes Pisa the golden gate of Tuscany constitutes the perfect frame for such an important event, that year after year testifies the continuous growth of the European Health Psychology Society.
It is both our privilege and pleasure to invite and welcome you to Pisa in September 2009 for the 23
